Sainsburys, Santa and Springwell Dene!

As our festivities continue, into the last week of term, there is no stopping in sight!

The story so far:

Last week a group of children from Key Stage 2 entertained shoppers at Sainsburys with carol singing! How wonderful! And a treat for those doing their weekly shopping!

On Thursday the whole school performed their own version of 'bringing gifts for Jesus'. The children excelled with an outstanding performance by every single child. From princesses to train drivers and from elves to a trip on the Polar Express, parents, family and friends were whisked into a world of treats and excitement. Well done to children and staff- it was fabulous!

On Friday; snowmen, santas', reindeer and elves jumped into life when Sunningdale took part in 'Christmas Jumper Day'! The children took part, making a donation to a fantastic cause- 'Save The Children' fund!

So, that brings us to today! Well, children and staff were invited to Springwell Dene School where they enjoyed an afternoon of carols. Everyone had a fantastic time!

That brings us swiftly up to date....so what's in store for the rest of the week?....

Well, tomorrow (Tuesday 16th December) will bring a school party with a magician to entertain the children and a spot of tea;

On Wednesday 17th December a Christmas lunch (ooh, yum!) will be served for children, staff and invited guests.

On Thursday 18th December....guess what!.... The big man in red will be paying a visit to the children to make sure he hasn't missed any much wanted toy off his list! (and there will be a gift for each child!)

And last but not least, on Friday 19th December, there will be a 'Bringing gifts to Jesus' service at St. Mary's and St. Peter's church, Springwell where children, staff and parents can join together in the celebration and sing plenty of carols too!

So without further ado, let's keep going!
I'll see you all on Friday!
Have a great week.

Kate :-)
